Enrol in distance education
Distance education is for students who cannot attend school regularly in person. Our school provides distance education for eligible students. Students learn from home with lessons and support from our teachers.
How it works
Students may be eligiblebecause of geographical distance, health needs or other approved reasons. Students learn from home using online lessons, learning materials and regular support from our teachers.
Full Time Enrolment
Students must meet one of the conditions in the Distance Education Enrolment Procedures to be eligible to enrol as a full-time student.
The full-time enrolment categories are:
- students who meet geographic isolation criteria
- students travelling within Australia
- students temporarily resident or travelling overseas
- students with a medical condition
- pregnant students/young parents
- vocationally talented students
- students with additional learning and support needs

How to apply
- Contact your local public school to talk about your child’s needs. You will need the support of your local school to apply for distance education.
- Provide any required documents in the enrolment application
- Submit a distance education application.

School contributions
In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.

How to enrol in a Single Subject through distance education
Some students may need to study one or more courses through distance education. Our school's single subject enrolment lets students stay at their home school while also studying selected subjects with our school.
How it works
Students attend their home school and complete chosen subjects online through distance education. Eligibility is confirmed by our Principal and the student’s home school.
How to apply
- Talk to your child’s school.
- Provide any supporting information and documents.
- Submit a single course enrolment request.
